Here are the Waterloo County senior boys volleyball all-stars, starting from the front row, left to right: Trevor McLaughlin (GRCI), league MVP Jason Mueller (GRCI) and Kyle Griffin (WCI). The back row features Erich Wooley (WODSS), Paul Anderson (FHCI), Phil Wessel (GCI) and Jake Jones (GCI). Nenad Jovicic of Grand River was absent. Didn’t see this coming . . . the Grand River Renegades dropped both their games on Thursday at the McKerlie Classic hockey tournament, falling 3-2 to Norwell and 4-2 to Ancaster.
Play is still underway (as of 2 p.m.) at three Waterloo facilities.
