Class project for MOFILM Pepsi brief makes the cut
‘In The Rain’ is a short film which was made for Patrick Buchanan’s ‘Wordsmithing’ class last quarter, and now it’s on it’s way to the finals of MOFILM’s Pepsi London competition. Copywriter Andrew Siebert wrote & directed the short, using a trusty Canon 5D (which arrived in the mail 1 day before the shoot). Buchanan provided some key stylistic & editing input, as well as writing & recording the music for the film. The rest of the students pitched in their time during production, making the project a truly collaborative class effort. We’re not allowed to post the video yet due to the rules of the competition (since the winning films haven’t been announced yet), but if the team wins the grand prize, they’ll receive $10,000 and a trip to London! Second prize is $2,500, and third prize is $500. We’ll keep you updated…
