Essentially, they have greater command and control over their own schedule, and their own ability to take initiative and learn at their own pace.
Without a doubt, the Internet has changes the dynamics of the classroom and the role that it plays in the overall learning process. Online degrees are becoming more and more mainstream and widely accepted as a valid alternative to traditional classroom based learning.
